ABOUT THE FILLMORE CBD

The Fillmore District Community Benefit District (CBD) is a funding mechanism whereby commercial property owners assess themselves to fund services and improvements that benefit the properties in the District over and above those provided by the City of San Francisco. The Fillmore District CBD was voted on by the property owners and approved by the Board of Supervisors in August 2006. Its goal is to bring together property owners, businesses and residents to enhance the Fillmore mixed-use commercial district.

A nonprofit board of directors comprised of District property owners, business owners and residents runs the CBD. Activities include cleaning, streetscape improvements, sidewalk maintenance and marketing and branding services. The CBD includes 303 properties in the district.
